Historical Charm

I appreciated the quick resolution when I notified reception about the sofa bed not being ready. They upgraded our room immediately! The new room featured a separate twin bedroom. This gave my teenage daughter her own space, which she loved. Our room in the Coach House was freshly renovated, showcasing lovely period details. The grounds had an area perfect for dog walks. This included a safe off-lead space.

I noticed a small area of mess on the dressing table after plug socket replacements. It was only a minor detail though.

Wonderful and Comfortable Stay

The room I booked was lovely. It had been renovated to a very high standard. I also enjoyed the gardens. They were great for walking around, even with dogs.

The stairway to my room was dusty. I also noticed empty boxes of decorations stacked there. It wasn't the most cute sight. Three members of staff were present, but no one offered help.

The building is beautiful. Its listed status is certainly justified. The staff were professional and helpful throughout my visit. Breakfast included a good selection with plenty of choice and clean linens. I found the period features throughout the hotel good.

The building is excellent, showing its historical charm. The gardens are well maintained. The interior walls display a fine design. I found convenient, easy-access parking. The provided bathroom products, biscuits, and teas were excellent. I appreciated the well-signposted directions around the hotel.

The curtains in my room allowed light from the car park. This made it difficult to sleep.

The breakfast met my basic needs. It had food.

i found the room quite underwhelming. the walls seemed thin and the noise from other guests kept me up. also, the tv remote didn't work, so i couldn't even zone out to bad daytime tv.
